Frances M. Potter

  Frances M. Potter Of Thompson, PA     Frances M. Potter, 87, of Thompson PA, passed away on Tuesday, October 22, 2013, at the Barnes Kasson Hospital, after an illness. Frances was predeceased by her loving husband Girton J. Potter, her daughter Connie Ruth Whitney, and son Allan Charles Potter. She was survived by her daughter and son-in-law Linda and Donald Whitney; son-in-law Leon Whitney; sister-in-law Josephine Mach; six grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren. Frances spent much of her life living and working on the farm that she and her husband Girton owned and operated; she also delivered mail for the US postal service. She was a member of the North Jackson United Methodist Church. Frances loved playing Bingo with her friends and she also loved her dogs. She will be dearly missed by all her friends and family. A special thank you goes out to Dan Butts, Raymond Lee, and everyone else that helped Frances. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2013, at 11am at the North Jackson United Methodist Church, in North Jackson, PA, with Rev. Leanne Campbell officiating. Private burial will be held in the North Jackson Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the North Jackson United Methodist Church.
