Frank Paul Russo Sr.
Of Deposit, NY
Frank Paul Russo Sr., of Walton, NY passed away peacefully on June 14, 2026, at the age of 87, at Elizabeth Church Manor, Binghamton, NY.
He was born November 3, 1938, in Tuxedo Park, NY. He was predeceased by his wife of 65 years Mildred; parents Joseph Sr. and Sadie; two older brothers Joseph Jr. and Louis; and his son-in-law Scott Tweedie.
Frank is survived by his children Vic (Deborah), of Deposit, NY, Frank Jr. of Vestal, NY, and Sara Tweedie of Albany, NY; his brother-in-law Buddy (Ethel) Duggar of Perkin, IL; his grandchildren Edward, Nicholas, Adam, Travis, Anthony, Renee, Rob, Richie, Vincent, Frank III, Thomas, Logan, and Oliver; as well as many great grandchildren.
Frank served in the United States Air Force from 1955 to 1959, as a Helicopter Mechanic. Following his time in the service Frank had many jobs. He was a painter and wallpapered. In his later years he worked for Celotex in Deposit, NY. His was also an HVAC technician for Delaware Valley Hospital in Walton, NY, Read Memorial Hospital in Hancock, NY as well as Sure Temp in Binghamton, NY. He retired from Binghamton Central School District where he did HVAC as well.
In his free time Frank loved to garden and grow fruit trees.
Frank’s children would like to thank the staff at Elizabeth Church Manor for the care they gave to their father. We would especially like to thank Jess who went above and beyond in caring for our father.
As per Frank’s wishes there will be a private interment in the future.
