Frank C. Slocum, of Deposit, NY passed away on Sunday, May 21, 2023, at his home surrounded by his family.

He was predeceased by his parents Clayton & Anne (Trinkaus) Slocum.

Frank is survived by his loving wife of 48 years Christie (Carlson) Slocum; children Eric & Kim Slocum and Lindsay & Mike Worthley; brother Warren Slocum; sister Christine & Jorge Quesada; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Frank was born in Utica, NY, and graduated from Deposit Central School in 1967. After high school Frank joined the military and served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War from 1968 to 1971 where he earned a Bronze Star and Purple Heart. Following his time in the military Frank graduated from Delhi College and worked as a business executive for Chenango Valley Central School until his retirement. Frank was an active musician for all his life and played in several bands throughout the years. He was also a member of the Deposit VFW and Masons. One of his greatest passions was playing golf, especially with his wife Christie. Frank was a loving husband, father, and brother who will be dearly missed by his friends and family.

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, May 25, 2023, at 1pm at Hennessey’s Funeral Home, Deposit, NY, 78 Second St. Deposit, NY.

The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Thursday, May 25, 2023, from 11am till 1pm.
