Frederick Howell Sr. Of Jackson, PA Fred Howell Sr., 86, of Jackson, PA passed away Monday, September 9, 2019 at Barnes Kasson SNF in Susquehanna, PA. Fred was born in Herrick, PA and was the son of the late Samuel and Helen Howell. He was predeceased by his daughter June Hall; one brother Lester “Bud” and two sisters, Hannah and Esther. He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years Hazel Howell; his son Fred Howell Jr. & wife Cindy of Tunkhannock, PA; daughter Louise Venne & husband Rich of Hop Bottom, PA. Fred “Poppy” is also survived by three grandchildren; Jessica Miller & husband Luke, Craig Hall, Ericka Howell & fiancée Maverick Harding, plus a great granddaughter Natalie Rought, as well as several nieces and nephews. Fred retired from Southern Tier Plastics. He loved his family, farming and tractors. He hauled cows, canned milk and mowed the lawns. A Graveside service will be held at Gelatt Cemetery on Friday, September 13, 2019 at 11:00 am.
