Frederick H. Roe Sr. 78 of Lanesboro, PA, passed away on Sunday, February 26, 2023, at his home surrounded by his family.

He was born to the late Leonard & Nettie Roe and was the youngest of their 11 children.

Frederick is survived by his loving wife of 57 years Carol (June) Roe; children Frederick Roe Jr.; Kevin and Irene Roe; Jason & Sherrie Roe; and Tina Roe; grandchildren Shannon & Ben, Dylan & Teagan, Jordan Jicha, Lyndsie Jicha, and Haylie Jicha; great grandchild Bailey, Destiny, Logan, Carter, Aurora, Adalynn, Ryah, and Jackson; special niece Tina Ferrante.

Frederick was born in Oakland, PA and graduated from Susquehanna Community High School. After graduating Frederick served in the Army. He was an avid New York Yankees and Penn State Fan. He also enjoyed spending time with his grandson Dylan and the rest of his family. Frederick was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who will be dearly missed.

A Burial will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at 12:30pm at the Lanesboro Cemetery

Following the Burial a luncheon will be held at 1:00pm at the American Legion Post 86, 1234 Main St. Susquehanna, PA 18847.
