Gary A. Wolf, 74, of Oakland, PA, passed away on Saturday, January 20, 2024, at Barnes Kasson Hospital in Susquehanna, PA.

He was predeceased by his parents Fred & Josephine (Hart) Wolf; daughter Tammy Wolf; brothers Robert Wolf and Raymond Wolf.

Gary is survived by his loving wife of 58 years Sharon (Hine) Wolf; children Melissa Wolf (Dayton) and Amy Stankiewitz; son Shane Wolf (Diane); 12 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; brother Lee (Barb) Wolf and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Gary was born and raised in Susquehanna, PA. He worked at Kraoehler’s Furniture for several years until he suffered a hemorrhage in 1979 and was forced to retire. Gary loved bowling and playing cards with his brothers and friends. He was a lifetime member of Canawacta Rod and Gun Club where he helped run Bingo for several years. Most of all Gary loved spending time with his grandchildren who along with the rest of his family will miss him dearly.

A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at 6pm at Hennessey’s Funeral Home, 747 Jackson Ave. Susquehanna, PA.

The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 24, 2024, from 5 to 6pm.
