Georgia Mary Suchnick-DeAngelis Of Oakland, PA Georgia Suchnick-DeAngelis, 66 of Oakland, PA passed away on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at Moses Taylor Hospital in Scranton, PA. Georgia was predeceased by her parents George & Bernice Suchnick, husband Albert DeAngelis, sister Kay Buffington. She is survived by her 3 children Aimee & Nate Wademan, of Thompson, PA, Sheila & Jerry Poppo, of Lakewood, PA, Nick DeAngelis, of Wilkes-Barre, PA; grandchildren Owen & Brock Poppo; and nephew Adam Buffington. Georgia was a lifelong resident of Susquehanna, PA. She graduated from Susquehanna Community High School and Mansfield University. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the doctors and nurses in the ICU at Moses Taylor Hospital for their excellent care. There will be no services at this time; a private family memorial and interment in McKune Cemetery will be held at a later date.
