Gerald O. Decker Of Gulf Summit, NY Gerald O. Decker, 92 formerly of Gulf Summit, NY passed away on Wednesday, November 10, 2021, at Bridgewater Nursing Home in Binghamton, NY. He was predeceased by his loving wife of 62 years Irene (Gilmour) Decker; and parents Emerson & Susie (Albright) Decker. Gerald is survived by his children, Roberta Dietzman, Carolyn & John Baudendistel, Delsa Decker and David Stephens, Gerald M. Decker and Dana Curtin, Viola & Michael McKimmy and Valarie & Edward McGlynn; Gerald is also survived by nine grandchildren Connie & Tim Norvilas, Donna & Gary Schum, Regina & Brian Triple, Kimberly & John Brown, John Baudendistel Jr., Joe & Erin Decker, Matt & Kelley Decker, Neil McGlynn, Kevin McGlynn; 7 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. Gerald worked on the family farm in Gulf Summit for many years. He went on to retire from the Town of Sanford Highway Department. He taught his children the value of working hard. Gerald enjoyed spending time with his family, walking, hunting, and watching the wildlife. Due to health risks with the COVID-19 pandemic, the family will be holding a small private service at McClure Cemetery in Sanford, NY.
