Geraldine Marie Kuiper “Gerry” 81, of Susquehanna PA passed away November 3rd, 2023, after a long battle with Alzheimer's/Dementia.

She was predeceased by her loving husband William K Kuiper Sr (Bill), her parents Kenneth and Marguerite Buchanan, her sister Kathaleen Irwin and brother Kenny Buchanan.

She is survived by her sons and daughter in laws William (Billy)& Lisa, Michael & Candy and Brian and Amy Kuiper. Her grandkids Amanda, Crystal, Cody (Amanda), Christopher, Derek (Trish), Austin and Abigail and great grandkids Carsyn, Cora, Jordan, Sophia, Cheyanne, Layne, Deliah, Chase, Theo, and Grayson. She is also survived by her sisters and brothers in laws Irene & Harry Stanley, Charlene Rivera, and Darlene & Darrin Albert and several nieces and nephews.

Gerry worked for many years at the Acme Market in both Susquehanna and Hallstead and later Bilo until retirement. She could often be found sitting around her kitchen playing card with her sister, sons, and nieces. She also enjoyed playing bingo at all the local Bingo Halls. She was known for her delicious and beautiful cakes and there wasn't a family wedding, birthday, graduation, or baby shower that she didn't make a cake for. The family would like to thank all the wonderful women who helped that care of her for the past few years, Claire Elliott, Donna Robinison, Alexis Fiske, Angelle Hollister, Charlene Rivera, Tina Graves, Casandra Clark, and Jamie Slater.

A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, November 6, 2023, at 1pm at Hennessey’s Funeral Home, 747 Jackson Ave. Susquehanna, PA.
Interment will be in the Lanesboro Cemetery, Lanesboro, PA.

The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Monday, November 6, 2023, from 11am till 1pm.

In lieu of Flowers a donation can be made in her name to the Lanesboro Cemetery Association 402 Main Street Susquehanna PA 18847.
