Glenn Martin Stone

June 30, 1962 — March 8, 2022

Glenn Martin Stone Of Thompson, PA Glenn Martin Stone, 59, passed away peacefully on March 8th, 2022, at his home, after an extended battle with cancer. Glenn was predeceased by his mother and father, Donald and Barbara Stone, and his brother Keith Stone. Glenn is survived by his beloved daughter, Mallery (Craig) Hubal, grandsons: Layne, Griffin, Benjamin, and Andrew; siblings: Myrl (Carol) Stone; Lorraine (Dennis) Anderson; Warren (Tootsie) Stone; Janice (Bud) McCorkle; and Donna (Richard) Passetti; and special friend and caretaker Nickie (Mike) Hegarty. He also leaves behind aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and many friends. Glenn always lived his life on his own terms. He was strong-willed, intelligent, and hard-working. Always hungry for knowledge, he was an avid reader, researcher, and innovator. For many years he drove truck for a living- exploring the country and bringing home many stories of his adventures. Glenn held many jobs; from welding, to stone quarries, to ski resorts- all of which he did with pride. Glenn was also a lover of the outdoors. Gardening and landscaping became a passion; he achieved the title of Master Gardner through Penn State. Glenn's favorite hobby was building and flying his RC helicopters. Many afternoons he could be spotted out in a field on the family farm flying them. Towards the end of his life, Glenn gained a deep connection with God. He did not fear starting the next journey that was in store for him; and made sure those who loved him understood this. He was finally at peace in life and knew how loved he truly was. No services will be held, per Glenn's wishes. Instead, take the time to do something you love, spend time with those important to you, explore things that interest you.
