Gloria Marie Colwell Of Windsor, NY       Gloria M. Colwell, 90, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 15, 2018. She was predeceased by her husband Paul Laurence Colwell and two sisters Dorothy Cook and Olive DeBoer. Gloria was survived by her 3 sons and daughters-in-law, Stephen & Anita Colwell, Laurence & Donna Colwell, and Alan & Janelle Colwell; daughter and son-in-law Sylvia & Richard Churchward, and daughter Diane Colwell; 9 grandchildren Kathryn & Dan Thompson, Marsha & Matthew Slaten, Paul & Audrey Churchward, Laura Churchward, Craig & Nicole Colwell, Alex & Heather Colwell, Leigh & Joshua Presley, Samantha Colwell and Raven Hathaway; great grandchildren Kamryn, Logan, London, Brooklyn, Violet, Cassidy, Matthew, Joseph, and Caleb; Sisters Leona Williams and Leola Benford; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Gloria served many years as a Sunday School teacher and at least 35 years as an AWANA Leader. She was currently a member of the First Baptist Church in Susquehanna, PA. Gloria was a wonderful cook, and enjoyed making dinners and deserts for her family. She lived and worked on dairy farms her entire life. Gloria’s family was extremely important to her. They will miss her dearly. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, April 19, 2018 at 11am at the Hennessey’s Funeral Home, 747 Jackson Ave. Susquehanna, PA with Pastor Gary Hinman officiating. Interment will be held in the South Windsor Cemetery, Windsor, NY. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Thursday, April 19, 2018 from 10 to 11am.
