On April 6, 2023 in Thompson, Pennsylvania, at age 63, Gregory John Pelly's soul left his physical body to become one of God's Angels and watch over those he loves.

Greg will be missed dearly by many friends, siblings, nieces, and nephews, cousins, daughters, and grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his parents Peter Pelly and Celine Pelly (Schretlen).

Greg is survived by sister Mary DiSalvo in Asheville, NC; brother Morgan Pelly and sister-in-law Lisa in Ashville, NC; sister Sharon Argenbright in Sante Fe, NM; brother Chris Pelly and sister-in-law Juanita in Asheville, NC; brother Michael Pelly in Olympia, WA; sister Celine Pele in McKinleyville, CA; brother Joe Pelly and sister-in-law Sara in Keller, TX; and many nieces and nephews.

Daughters Margaret Mary Pelly and Amye Elizabeth Pelly; grandchildren James Scott Pelly, Hazel Hendrix Ann Martin, Donald Gregory Carroll, and Serenity Carroll.

As well as two beautiful women he shared his life with Patricia Galligan Pelly and Teri Madrid.

A friend, a son, a brother, a father, and a grandfather. The title he wore most proudly was Grandpa. The sparkle in his eyes grew brighter with each grandchild placed into his strong gentle hands.

He is an accomplished artist, craftsman, and music lover; especially of the Grateful Dead. Through his art, he enabled many of us to appreciate the beauty in nature that is otherwise hidden right before our eyes.

His spirit is now free to explore the great unknown. When you feel the sunshine upon your face, know he is with you.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
