    Guy R. CliftOf Susquehanna, Pa. Guy R. Clift, 82 of Susquehanna passed away on April 26, 2013 after an illness. He was predeceased by his parents Guy and Lila and his brother Stanley. Guy is survived by Ruth (Norton), his wife of 60 years, his daughters Terry Clift and Marcia and Jeffrey Potter, his sisters Audrey LaHoda, Janet Baxter and sister-in law Eileen, his grand-children Ian and Josie Potter, Stefan Potter with Courtney and Parker, Karly Potter with Ely, Devlin Conrad with his father Jim Conrad and Jim's daughters Mickie Conrad and her son Joey, K.C. Ulbig and her daughter Robin. His great-grandchildren Brayden and Owen, dear friends Carol and Danny Klym, many neices and nephews, and his dog, Babe. Guy is well known as the manager of Matis Manufacturing for many years. He made beautiful wood carvings and furniture and he could fix or build anything. He loved sharing his pool with the town children and he had a love/hate relationship with golf. He would give money or a ride to anyone who needed it. Most of all he loved Susquehanna and at the end of the day didn't want to be anywhere else. He was a major presence for his family and friends and will be sorely missed. The funeral Service will be held on Tuesday April 30th at 11am at the Hennessey’s Funeral Home 747 Jackson Ave. Susquehanna, Pa. with Pastor Gary Day officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery in Susquehanna. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10 to 11am. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Humane Society.
