Gwendolyn G. McKee Of Susquehanna, PA Gwendolyn G. McKee, 85, of Susquehanna, PA, passed away on Monday, January 19, 2015, at the Guthrie Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre PA, after an illness. Gwendolyn was predeceased by her husband Kenneth C. McKee; son Carlton “Chip” K. McKee; great grandchildren Gavin J. Ockerman and Hanley McKee; and one brother James Carpenter. She is survived by her four children Sylvia and Lee Booker; Susan Krall; Roland and Pamela McKee, and Kevin and Paula McKee; thirteen grandchildren, Nickie, Kenny, Brooke, Devin, Alisha, Jeremy, Courtney, Bryana, Jacoba, Keagan, Jaimie, Brandon, and Garrett; many great grandchildren; four brothers Kenneth Jr., Roger, Larry and Terry Carpenter; four sisters Betty Diluzio, Vivian Westbrook, Shelby Carpenter and Janice Convertino; several nieces, nephews and cousins. We laid to rest everyone’s Gram of Susquehanna. No one will ever meet a tougher mother & grandmother. She was a Harley ridin, gun slingin, truly honest, faithful, and loving woman. She was independent and dedicated to the people she loved. You always knew where you stood with Gwen. After the loss of her father, husband and son she was still the rock of Susquehanna. She raised 5 lovingly difficult children with only the aid of a wooden spoon the Clint Eastwood look and a John Wayne swagger. Her smile was sarcastic and reached your heart. No one will forget her A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, January 23, 2015, at 5pm, at the Hennessey’s Funeral Home, 747 Jackson Ave. Susquehanna, PA. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Friday, January 23, 2015 from 3 to 5pm.
