Harold S. Houghton Of Jackson, PA Harold S. Houghton, 94 of Lake Road, Jackson Township PA passed away at his home on Sunday, September 27, 2020, surrounded by his family. Harold was predeceased by his first wife Effie Ann Ryan, son Timothy John Houghton, sister Lillian Houghton, and brothers George F. Houghton and Harry D. Houghton. He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years Carol B. (Glover) Houghton; son and daughter-in-law Jeffrey S. & Darlene Houghton; daughter, Penny M. Reed; step children Cheyanne & Keevin Kenyon, Sandra & Gary Marlin, Daniel & Diane Botts, Karen & Larry Porter, and Trudy & Nick Perez; brother and sister-in-law Elmer and Anne Houghton; 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Harold was born in Susquehanna, PA and grew up in Stevens Point, PA. He served in the United States Navy during WWII. Following his time in the service he worked for 44 years as a Regional Manager at Columbia Gas until his retirement. After his retirement Harold moved back to Susquehanna and spent his winters in Naples Florida. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. A private graveside service will be held in the Starrucca Cemetery, Starrucca, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of the Sacred Heart, 600 Baltimore Drive, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18702.
