Harold William McKinney Jr., a lifelong resident of Susquehanna, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on May 27, 2026, at his home on Oak Hill Road. Born on May 2, 1959, in Susquehanna, PA.

A proud veteran, Harold served honorably in the United States Army. Following his military service, he pursued a career as a truck driver, a profession he continued with steadfast commitment until his retirement just a year before his passing.

Harold was a man who found joy in life’s simple pleasures. He cherished spending time fishing, riding motorcycles, and embarking on cross-country drives, where he took great delight in absorbing the beauty of the ever-changing scenery.

Born and raised in the close-knit community of Susquehanna, Harold lived on Oak Hill Road.

He is lovingly remembered by his children, Keith McKinney, Mary McKinney, and Harold McKinney III. Harold was also a grandfather to Alyssa, Emma, Olivia, Scott, Kevin, Ashley, Raymond "RJ", Miya, Isabella and Victoria.

Harold’s family circle included his siblings James McKinney, William McKinney, and Emily McKinney, with whom he shared a lifetime of memories. He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Harold and Mary McKinney Sr., and granddaughter Isabella McKinney.

There will be a visitation on Saturday, June 6, 2026, from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Hennessey's Funeral Home, located at 747 Jackson Avenue in Susquehanna, PA. Following visitation, a memorial service will be held at the same location beginning at 5:00 p.m.
