Helen J. Amirault, 90, of Susquehanna, PA, passed away on Sunday, August 27, 2023, at Barnes Kasson SNF in Susquehanna, PA.

She was predeceased by her parents Frederick & Helen (Wilson) Noyes; husband Peter W. Amirault;son Peter David Amirault; brothers Charles Noyes and Paul Noyes; son-in-law Lee Squires.

Helen is survived by her children, Helen Marie Amirault, Mona (Arlen) Whiteman, Laura (Jim) Jones, Barbara Squires, Charlene (Rob) Naper, John Amirault; daughter-in-law Patricia Amirault; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; brother Kenneth Noyes; sister-in-law Terry Noyes; brother-in-law Norman (Ann) Amirault; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Helen was born in Malden, MA on February 6, 1933, and was raised in South and East Boston. She graduated from South Boston High School in 1951. After high school she worked at Liberty Mutual until she met her husband Peter and began raising a family of her own. Helen was a long time member of the Latter-Day Saints Church (Mormon). She was also a member of the Eastern Star and the American Legion Auxiliary. Helen was a very avid reader who also enjoyed knitting and sewing.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2023, at 11am at Hennessey’s Funeral Home, 747 Jackson Ave. Susquehanna, PA.

Interment will be held in the Fairview Memorial Park, Elmhurst, PA.

The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Friday, September 8, 2023, from 6pm to 8pm.
