Helen Wanda Petroski Of Jackson, PA Helen W. Petroski, 91 of Jackson, PA passed away on Sunday, June 14, 2020 at Barnes Kasson SNF, in Susquehanna, PA. She was born on June 22, 1928, daughter of the late Tom & Helen (Sovinski) Malinski. She was also, predeceased by her loving husband Martin Petroski Sr. in June of 2005; and her siblings Tom, Ed, Julia, Gene, Walt, Delores and Cecelia. Helen is survived by her children Martin J. Petroski Jr. of Jackson, PA and Thomas Petroski Sr. of Thompson, PA; grandchildren Thomas Petroski Jr. and April Petroski; and great grandchildren Eric, Bella, Wyatt and Winter. Helen was born in Lake Como, PA and went to Preston School. She married Martin on October 23, 1949. Helen worked at many of the camps and had a farm in the Rock Lake area until she and Martin moved to the Jackson Area in August of 1951. There Helen remained a dairy farmer until the age of 84. She was a member of the St. Martin of Tours Church in Jackson, PA where she helped out at many of the funerals and events; she also was a member of the Christian Mother’s for 40 + years. Helen spent her last several years at Barnes Kasson SNF. A private Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday, June 19, 2020 at 11am at St. Martin of Tours Church in North Jackson, PA. Interment will be held in the Lamb Cemetery, Jackson, PA. The family will receive friends at the Church on Friday from 10:30 to 11am. Masks will be required.
