Henry G. Barnes

  Henry G. Barnes Of Susquehanna, PA   Henry G. Barnes, 81, of Susquehanna, PA, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 14, 2014, at the Barnes Kasson Hospital after a short illness. He was predeceased by his mother and father Raymond and Lillian (DePoe) Barnes; and his four brothers Herb, Donald, Roger, and Alvin. Henry was survived by his loving wife Carol (Merritt) Barnes; three children, Richard, Cara, and Arthur; Seven grandchildren Cortney, Lauren, Kayla, Melissa, Cherry, Christopher, and Baily; seven great grandchildren, Sahara, Rheanna, Madison, Malia, Aiden, Stefanie, and Sara; nine brothers and sisters, Clyde, Florence, Albert, Marian, Thomas, John, Fred, Martha, and Raymond; and several nieces and nephews. Henry served in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War. After, he worked on the Railroad for 40 years, until his retirement. He enjoyed the outdoor sports of hunting and fishing. Henry was a loving father and grandfather who will be deeply missed. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the St. John’s Church, in Susquehanna, PA, on Friday, January 17, 2014 at 11am.
