Howard A. Weibel Jr.

  Howard Alonzo Weibel Jr. Of Susquehanna, PA  Howard A. Weibel, Jr., 67, of Susquehanna, PA, passed away on Saturday November 2, 2013, at the Barnes Kasson SNF. Howard was predeceased by his parents Howard and Louise Weibel and his sister Martha. Howard was survived by his loving wife of 46 years Patricia; his two sons and daughter-in-laws, Howard Weibel, III and Crystal Weibel and Joshua Weibel and Stephanie Weibel; four grandchildren (that he loved very much) Howard IV, Matthew, Elizabeth and Brian; two brothers Harry and Albert; one sister Cecilia and brother-in-law Harold Wayman. Howard was a loving husband and father. He had a strong faith and loved the Lord. He was a member of the Body of Christ Church, Starrucca, PA. Howard worked at Vail Ballou Press for many years. He was a shop steward and served as president of the Local 89 Bookbinders union. He coached and managed Benson Bro’s Tri-Boro Little League team for many years and loved each of the players like they were his own. Howard loved to hunt, Bluegrass music, playing his guitar and writing his own songs and also singing in the church choir. His family would like to express their deepest thanks and gratitude to Dr. Bernard Remakus for the excellent care he has provided Howard over the years and to the SNF staff for making his last few years as comfortable as possible. They would also like to thank the many friends that stopped in to see him and all those that helped in other ways. A memorial service will be held on Monday, November 11, 2013, at 11am at Body of Christ Church in Starrucca,PA with Pastor Kevin Setzer officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Body of Christ Church, Starrucca or the Barnes Kasson SNF, Susquehanna.
