Irene “Louise” Decker, 89, of Deposit, NY, passed away on Monday, April 7, 2025 at Willow Point Nursing Facility in Vestal, NY.

Louise is survived by her loving husband of over 71 years, Friend “Jr” Decker and her children Barbara and Allan Beilby, Timothy and Rebecca Decker, Michael Decker, Lori and David Vandermark, Rose Valentine and Peter and Dana Decker. Louise is also survived by her grandchildren Brooke Burnett, Airin (Patrick) Taylor, Alicia (Nick) Mastropietro, Timothy Decker, Collin Decker, Angela Elrod, Lucas Vandermark, Whitney (Eric) Hartz, Gregory Valentine, Madyson Decker, and Reagan Decker; 13 great grandchildren and 7 great, great, grandchildren.

Louise was born and raised in Trout Creek, NY on her family farm. She graduated from Deposit Central High School in 1952. After high school she married her husband Junior and raised her family in Deposit. She also worked at the Dress factory in Deposit, NY, and retired from Brown’s Pharmacy in Deposit, NY. Louise loved to cook and read. Most important was spending time with her loving family and friends who will miss her dearly.

At Louise’s request there will be no funeral services.
