Iva Jean Fuller Lester, 70, of Deposit, Ny passed away peacefully early Friday February 10, 2023, at Bridgewater Nursing Home in Binghamton Ny. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 50 years, David Lester, A son Patrick Lester, brother Ronald Fuller and Parents Celia and Clarence Fuller.

She was born July 27, 1952. She was the 5 ^th child of 8 siblings that grew op on the farm in Winterdale PA. She married David Wayne Lester on September 3, 1972. They lived for many years in Hancock NY. Where she worked at Hancock Central School, Circle E Diner, and Capras Laundry and Dry Cleaning.  She was a very talented Seamstress, Cake Baker and Cook.

She touched many lives but not as much as those she left behind. She Leaves a son, David William Lester, (ONLY!) daughter in law, Amy Lester, Three grandchildren whom she was very devoted to William Lester, Katrina Lester (James), and Devin Lester. Six surviving siblings Howard Fuller (John), Albert Fuller, Carol Baker (Walt), John Fuller (Esther), Douglas Fuller (Nancy), Joyce Kellam (Alan). And many, many Nieces and Nephews. And a very spoiled companion Happy.

She spent her final days at Bridgewater Nursing Home. The family is very grateful to al the staff, residents and her Friend (who was not “family”) Emily. They truly made her final days very special.

A joint celebration of Life will be held in the spring for Iva and David. She will be dearly missed.
