Jack Nelson Of Susquehanna PA Jack Nelson, 74, 18883 State Route 171, Susquehanna, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, February 13, 2014 at "Meadowbrook Ranch" his home for 32 years. He was married to Gerry Nelson. They celebrated their 53rd Wedding Anniversary on January 28th. The Nelsons moved to Susquehanna in August 1981. Jack and his son John raised Charolais Beef Cattle and the Nelsons have owned and operated "The King's Barn" in Thompson PA since 1986. Prior to moving to Pennsylvania, Jack owned Buddha Auto Body Shop, Lindenhurst NY, Diamond Body Works, Brooklyn NY and he worked for the Home Insurance Company of NY as an insurance adjuster. He is survived by his wife Gerry, his son John Nelson, daughter-in-law Stefanie and his grandson Alexx of Thompson PA. His sister-in-law Gloria and his brother-in-law Edward Wheeler, East Meadow NY, nieces and nephews Kristin Wheeler, Edward and Doreen Wheeler, Kyra and Richard McElligott and great nieces and nephews Tristan and Quinn Cave, Kelsey, Kalea and Keegan McElligott. Memorial gathering with Jack's family will be held at THE KING'S BARN, 295 Main Street, Thompson, PA on Sunday, February 23rd from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
