James George Decker Sr. (J.D.) Of Susquehanna, PA Dear Jim, Well…today, June 17, 2017 was the day we have dreaded for over a year and half. Don’t worry about me or the kids Jamie (Anna), Jessica, Jeffrey (Amy), we will be fine and I will continue to watch our grandsons Garrett’s, Joel’s, and soon to be new baby Brantley’s sporting events and I can see you up in heaven shaking your head as I scream and yell my head off. Do me a favor and look up mom and dad, Steve and Lucille Klym, and ask them to continue to watch over all of us. I’m sure your dad Earl and Mom Ethel will be there too, as well as your brothers Art and Clair. Your sisters Ruth, Pauline, and Rosemary will be missing you as well. Jim worked for the railroad for forty two and a half years starting with the Erie, then Conrail, and then finally retiring from Norfolk South Railroad on November 3, 2014. Jim was given the Harrisburg Division Maintenance of Way Department for Exemplary Railroad Service in 2010. He enjoyed going to the Legion a couple times a week and would bring home all the gossip. Jim had a dry sense of humor but stay out of his way when he was mad. Jim was never the “lovey-dovey” type, but showed his love for his family in many different ways. The kids and I will miss you every day for the rest of our lives and I will love you forever. There will be no services per Jim’s request but a memorial dinner will be held on Saturday, June 24th, at 6:00pm at the American Legion Post 86 in Susquehanna, PA.
