James Anthony Giacalone III, born on August 18, 1981, in Queens, New York, passed away peacefully on October 17, 2025, in Stormville, New York. He was a beloved figure whose caring nature and heart of gold left an indelible mark on all who knew him.
James dedicated his life to helping others, offering his support to anyone in need. His hobbies included fishing, which brought him joy and a deep appreciation for the tranquility of nature. He also had a passion for working on cars, often engaging in projects that combined his interest in mechanics with his love for problem-solving. Moreover, James found great fulfillment in assisting others with odd jobs, a reflection of his selfless character.
James is survived by his devoted wife, Shannon Mills; his loving children, Anthony Giacalone and Brooklyn Giacalone; his mother, Barbara McGinnis; and his sister, Jamie McGinnis. He is also remembered fondly by his brother, Frank Giacalone, and many nieces and nephews who cherished their time with him.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Giacalone II, and his brother, Billy McGinnis. Their absence is deeply felt in the hearts of those who loved him.
At this time, there will be no services held to honor James's memory, reflecting his wish for simplicity amidst life’s complexities. He will be forever missed and remembered for the love he shared and the lives he touched.
