James Robert Kuhn

May 1, 1953 — May 19, 2021

James Robert Kuhn Of Susquehanna, PA Jim Kuhn, 68, of Susquehanna, PA passed away on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at Scranton Regional Hospital. He was predeceased by his parents Earl & Frances Kuhn. He is survived by his loving daughters Jolene Kelly (Andrew), Samantha McVay (Eugene) and Mary Ann Downton (Jordon); sisters Shirley Smith (Clair), Sandra Hartmann (Danny), Linda Corbin (Thomas) and Diane Gheen (Tim); and 7 grandchildren Kirsten Bedford, Brooke Kelly, Hunter Downton, Vincenzo Delsandro, Payton Kelly, Giovanni Delsandro and Aria Downton. Jim was a giving man who made a huge impact on those around him without any expectations of receiving anything in return. He was an amazing father to his three daughters and an exceptional grandfather to his seven grandchildren. He enjoyed attending all of their events, celebrating all of their accomplishments, and was always one of their biggest supporters. Jim was a member of the Sons of the American Legion. He enjoyed whistling during his daily strolls around town, long walks with his sister Shirley, and giving his lifelong neighbor and friend, Larry Carpenter, a hard time. After his retirement, he enjoyed helping his good friend, Gene Delsandro, on many projects. Jim was a kind and generous man, never short of good advice and was always a phone call away if you needed him. He was loved and adored by so many and will be forever missed. The family will receive friends at Hennessey’s Funeral Home, 747 Jackson Ave. Susquehanna, PA on Tuesday, May 25, 2021 from 5 to 8pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Legion Post 86, Main St. Susquehanna, PA 18847.
