James Neil Slocum

James Neil Slocum Of Susquehanna, PA   James Neil Slocum, 76, of Slocum Hill Road passed away on Saturday, August 19, 2017 after an illness. He was born in Harmony Township, PA the son of the late Charles and Dorothy Slocum. James was predeceased by his sister Jeanette LaBarre. He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years Joan Slocum; two sons Dale Slocum and Greg Lillibridge; two brothers Charles and Lee Slocum; three grandchildren Timothy James (TJ), Kierstyn and John; and one great grandchild Rowan. After graduating from high school James served in the United States Navy. Following his time in the service he owned and operated Slocum Hill Farm. Along with operating his farm James worked as a carpenter, belonging to the Local 281 Carpenters Union from which he retired. He will dearly missed by all of his family and friends. Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
