Janet L. Depue

DePue, Janet L. (Nagel) 10/9/43 - 11/19/12 Janet L. Depue of Susquehanna, Pa. passed away peacefully on Monday November 19, 2012 at the Barnes Kasson Hospital in Susquehanna after an extended illness. She was born in Susquehanna, Pa. the daughter of the late Fred and Marion (Steiner) Nagel. She was predeceased by her husband William T. DePue in 1990. Janet is survived by her life partner of 22 years Charles T. Cleveland; sister Mary Alice Chicosky and husband Stephen; step children Thomas DePue and Catherine Poole; nephew Stephen Chicosky; niece Sharon Nebzydoski; niece Susan Griffis; lifelong friends Elaine and Phillip Schuster. Janet was a 27 year employee of Barnes Kasson Hospital working in the SNF, transportation and WIC departments. Most recently she worked with her partner Chuck in managing their auto and truck repair business. Janet was a dynamic, vibrant and spirited woman who thoroughly enjoyed life, friends, relatives and her home at Page Lake. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. A memorial service will be held on Saturday November 24th at 2pm at the United Methodist Church in Susquehanna with Rev. Leanne Campbell officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery in Susquehanna, Pa. The family will receive friends at the United Methodist Church on Saturday from 1 to 2pm. In lieu of flowers the family request donations in her memory to be made to Barnes Kasson Hospital 2872 Turnpike St. Susquehanna, Pa. 18847
