Janet Tice Smith, 79 of Susquehanna, PA passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 20, 2022.

Janet was predeceased by her loving husband George; parents Marjorie Tice (McNeely) and Harry Tice.

Janet is survived by her children, Jason; Gerald (Susan); grandchildren Ethan, Matthew, Ana and Austin, as well as many cousins and close friends.

Janet was born January 2 ^nd , 1943 in Binghamton, NY. She graduated high school from Susquehanna Schools and eventually went on to become a licensed beautician.  Over her many years of practice in the local community, Janet had many clients and customers that turned into true lifelong friends.  In her dual career, she also created lifelong impressions and memories by creating some of the most beautiful silk flower arrangements for many weddings.

However, her true passion was her commitment to her family.  She was an extremely vital part of her children and grandchildren’s lives. Janet was always supportive and encouraging in all of their endeavors.  She was happiest when surrounded by her family and proud of all of their accomplishments.

Janet will always be remembered as a devoted wife, loving Mother and Grandmother, as well as a dear friend to many. She was a sweet, caring, and generous woman who will be forever missed by her friends and family.

A private memorial service will be planned in the future for close friends and family.

In Lieu of flowers, any memorial contributions can be made in her memory to the Fisher House Foundation or the American Heart Association.
