Janet E. Mosser Tompkins Of Hallstead, PA Janet Tompkins, 90 of Hallstead, PA was called home to her Heavenly Father on Saturday, August 7, 2021, surrounded by her family. She was born on August 11, 1930 in Brookdale, PA, daughter of the late Jerry & Marian (Noble) Tingley. She is predeceased by her daughter Gwen (John) Ross; infant daughter Angela Marie Mosser, and sister Dawn (Theron) Banker. Janet is survived by her loving husband of 13 years Warren Tompkins. Her memory will live on through her sister Mary Lee (Bob) Dayton of Susquehanna, PA; daughters Wendy Knapp of Hallstead, PA and Julie (Roger) Holleran of Susquehanna, PA, and also “just-like-a-daughter” Amy (Bob) Pessarchick of Windsor, NY; she is also survived by her grandchildren Jason (Alicia) Ross, Kelly (Mark) Frailey, Jill (Wes) Parks, Ryan (Angela) Holleran, plus her great grandchildren Megan (Mike), Kate, Jason Jr., Skylar, Devon, Alexis, Tyler, Jack, Paisley, and Vada. All the beloved members of Warren’s family whom were always in her thoughts and prayers as well. She also enjoyed an especially close relationship with her nephew Tom (Janet) Dayton. Janet was a homemaker and later in life volunteered at various organizations including the Great Bend Senior Center and Meals on Wheels. She will most fondly be remembered as a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother; as a music lover who was the pianist at several churches over the years and a woman who kept her wits about her throughout everything she faced. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at 11am at Hennessey’s Funeral Home, 747 Jackson Ave. Susquehanna, PA. Interment will be held in Brookdale Cemetery, Hallstead, PA. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Wednesday, August, 11, 2021 from 10am to 11am.
