Jean Elaine Carpenter Of Brandt, PA   Jean Elaine (Yale) Carpenter of Brandt, PA, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Monday, June 24, 2019. Jean enjoyed gardening, painting, reading and taking walks. She was always ready with the right answer and best advice. Her husband and family were blessed to have had this amazing woman in their lives. She was predeceased by her parents Wendell & Geraldine Yale and brother Wendell Yale Jr. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Kermit Carpenter; her children Mary Talleur (James), Joseph Cappiello, Susan Cappiello (John), Erin Truex (Donald), Ray Carpenter (Theresa), Ryan Carpenter (Teri), Kyle Carpenter (Mikako), Curtis Carpenter (Stephanie) and one step daughter, Heather Carpenter Hayes; her grandchildren Andrew, Danielle, Emma, Joey, Jillian, Callie, Dietzen, Charlotte, Brynn, Eric, Paige and seven great grandchildren. In addition, she is survived by her sisters Connie Bauer, Barbara Stacknick, Sara Dubanowitz, Geraldine Staerker as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. A memorial service will be held at the Starrucca Baptist Church on Saturday June 29, 2019 at 1:00 pm. A small graveside service will be held afterwards for immediate family only. All others are invited to stay as a luncheon will be provided. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Trinity UMC of Espy 2351 Old Berwick Road Bloomsburg, PA 17815.
