Jean M Frink (Shimer), 82 of New Milford, PA passed away unexpectedly @ Lourdes hospital on Oct. 4th 2023.

She was born in Susquehanna on March 29, 1941 to the late Carl Nagel and Louise (Steiner) Nagel.

Jean’s life revolved around her family. She was the rock that everyone leaned on in times of need. She spent many hours in her flowers beds and watching the bluebirds and bears in her backyard. Her face lit up at the sight of her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, or great-great grandchildren. But nothing compared to the joy she got from listening to her husband play his guitar and sing. She enjoyed being the “Mean-ager” of the Bla-Bla’s and some believe we still hear her faint singing in our ears.

She formerly worked at GE, Magnetic Labs, Humbies, and Ranger Industries, but most enjoyed bossing everyone around at Rock Creek Creations, where she served as overall Supervisor and earned her wages in crackers and warm water.

Jean is survived by her loving husband and soul mate Bruce Frink. Brother Carl Nagel (Val), 2 brothers-in-law Larry Frink (Judy), Michael Frink (Jessica). Her children whom she adored; Kathy McKee (Robert), Randy Shimer,
Laurie Parks (Greg). Her Grandchildren who were the light of her life; Nickie Shimer-Hegarty (Mike), Kenny McKee, Kasey Beekler (Matt), Karl Shimer (Cassie), Kristopher Shimer, Tracee Jo Shimer, Craig Hubal (Mallery), and Rob Hubal (Stephanie). Countless great and great-great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, November 12, 2023 at 1pm at the American Legion Post 86, 1234 Main St. Susquehanna, PA 18847
