She dedicated 15 years to the Deposit Emergency Squad as the assistant captain. Joan spent over 53 years as a registered nurse and loved every second of it. More than half of those years were spent at Lourdes Hospital in Binghamton NY where she built a family that she held near to her heart. There will be a graveside service open to any who wish to pay their respects at Riverview Cemetery In Hancock NY, Saturday September 26 at 1pm. In lieu of flowers, she asked that donations in her memory be made to Hospice at Lourdes 4102 Old Vestal Road Vestal, NY 13850.
