Joann (McMahon) McIntyreOf Susquehanna, PA  Joann (McMahon) McIntyre, 72, of Susquehanna, PA, passed away on May 12, 2015. She was the daughter of the late Joseph T. McMahon and late Julia (Nawoichik) McMahon. She is predeceased by her husband, John P. McIntyre, Sr., her sister, Mary Elizabeth (Betty) McMahon, her sister and brother-in-law, Helen Jean and Robert H. Raymond and close family friend, James J. Luciana. She is survived by a son, John P. McIntyre, Jr. of Susquehanna, PA and a daughter and son-in-law, Terese (McIntyre) and Adam DeLaPlaine, Susquehanna, PA. She is also survived by a granddaughter, Tori Lynn McIntyre of Webster, MA and twin grandsons, John (Jack) and Joseph DeLaPlaine, and close friends Elaine Andusko and Janet Burns.   A native of Susquehanna, Joann was a graduate of Laurel Hill Academy. Throughout her career as an administrative secretary, she served senior executives at Singer Link and the Celotex Corporation, before retiring after twenty years of service from the Susquehanna Community School District. Joann was a lifelong member of Saint John’s Church, Susquehanna, PA and was a longstanding member of the Altar and Rosary society along with serving on numerous church committees over the years. She will be remembered for her quick wit and love of polkas and will be deeply missed. A mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, May 15, 2015, at 10:00am at the St. John’s Church, Susquehanna, PA. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery, Susquehanna. The family will receive friends at the Hennessey’s Funeral Home, 747 Jackson Ave., Susquehanna, PA on Thursday from 5 to 8pm.
