John William Viviano III
Of Sidney, NY
It is with immense sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved John William Viviano lll on November 18, 2023.
Jack Viviano and Carmen Decocker joyfully welcomed John, their first born, into this world, on June 7, 1983 in Johnson City, NY.
John will be met on the other side by "the coolest guy he ever met" his beloved baby brother Anthony Viviano, His Stepfather Joseph Schalk Jr, Grandparents Lorraine and John Viviano Sr, Grandfather Michael T. Hromada .
John will continue to shine brightly in the lives of so many that he touched. He is survived by his greatest treasure, his son Adrian. His father Jack and wife Lila Viviano, Mother Carmen and husband Robert Decocker, Grandmother Julie (Winans). John loved being a big brother, and truly valued his relationships with his siblings Lacey (Viviano), Jarae (Cornwell), Karley (Decocker), Darrien (Schalk), Arianna (Michalski), Vallen (Schalk), Camron (Decocker). John, had many nieces and nephews and loved teaching and spending time with them. Whether it be sleigh riding, playing basketball, jumping on the trampoline, hide and seek, or even making tiktoks he enthusiastically entered their world to make them happy. John has shared a very special friendship with Nadine Viviano, Michael Nugent, and was grateful for the loving relationship he had with Lisa Mills.
John's effervescent spirit was apparent to all from an early age, and he carried that throughout his life. He enjoyed making people laugh, a good prank, a talent for impersonating voices entertaining friends and family whenever an opportunity presented. He had a passion for writing, filling notebooks with poetry, and music. He loved to entertain. Johns greatest pride in life was his son Adrian, "His buddy, His pal" to whom he passed on his love of music. The father and son duo could often be found playing guitar or drums, and singing their favorite songs or freestyling together. He held a great appreciation for the everyday beauty found in nature, hiking and the outdoors. From an early age John stuck up for the underdog, encouraging and empowering them, he continued this in his adult life as a voice for mental health and addiction awareness. John touched so many lives on this journey, befriending all, embracing the uniqueness of others. If you feel you were his best friend, or felt connect, know that you were. If he loved you, he always loved you, he carried you within, always knowing, it's not a YOU thing or a ME thing, it’s a WE thing. Please spread kindness.
