Jonnie L. Reed, 74, of Deposit, NY passed away on Friday, February 24, 2023, at UHS Wilson Hospital, Johnson City, NY.

She was predeceased by her parents John & Marilyn (Vanpelt) Tarbox; husband Melvin Reed; stepfather Richard Gifford Sr.; granddaughter Kaylee Reed; brother James Tarbox; sister Mert Tarbox; nephew Jimmy Tarbox.

Jonnie is survived by her children John Reed, Melissa Reed, Christine Reed; grandchildren Haley Reed, Gage Reed, Kaiden Reed; siblings JoAnn, Judy, Karen, Kevin, Kim, Kathy, and Dicky; many nieces and nephews.

Jonnie was born and raised in Deposit, NY and graduated from Deposit Central High School. She worked at Eureka and Valley Offset and then retired from Putnam Publishing. Jonnie loved to bake; most important to her was spending time with her children and grandchildren who will miss her dearly.

There will be a celebration of life held at a later date.
