Joyce Louise Roe Of Conklin, NY Joyce L. Roe, 80, of Conklin, NY formerly of Susquehanna, PA passed away on Thursday February 20, 2020 at the Susquehanna Nursing & Rehab Center in Johnson City, NY. She was predeceased by her parents Murvington & Ruth (Slocum) Phillips; son Marty Wilmot; grandson Robbie Perry; great grandson Evan Perry; great granddaughter Heaven; 3 brothers Willard, Donald and Larry Phillips. Joyce is survived by children Susie Wilmot and Chet Walker; Robert & Linda Wilmot; Sharon Ruth & John Whitmore; Colleen & Orval Paddock; Julie Kreb; sister and brother-in-law Carole & Bill Phillips; sisters-in-law Betty, Mary Jane, and Helen Phillips; grandchildren, Jill, Christy, Bobby, Aaron, Chris, Charles, Chad, Casey, Aaron, and Cali; 24 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; special aunt Ella Mae Stone; several nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends. Joyce was a loving mother, sister, and grandmother; she was very unselfish person. She was member of the Red Hats Society and TOPS. Joyce enjoyed spending time with her friends “Nutty Buddies”, crocheting, and sewing. She loved to cook for her family and friends, and whenever anyone stopped by to visit they would never leave empty handed. She also loved her animals Buddy (who recently predeceased her), Max and Quincy. She will be dearly missed by family and friends. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 29, 2020 at Noon at the Hennessey’s Funeral Home, 747 Jackson Ave. Susquehanna, PA. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Saturday from 11am till Noon. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Town & Country Veterinary Services, 20400 SR 706, Montrose, PA 18801 or a charity of one’s choice.
