Judith Tarbox, 69, of Deposit, NY, passed away on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, at her home in Deposit, NY.

She was predeceased by her parents James & Martha (Linkroum) Daugherty; husband Durwood Tarbox Jr.; and brother Jim Daugherty.

Judith is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Luke & Amy Tarbox; three grandchildren Nathan, Cameron, and Aiden Tarbox; brother Jared Daugherty; niece Molly Hawley; and sister-in-law Penny Daugherty.

Judy was born in Deposit, NY on November 15, 1954. She graduted from Deposit Central High School. After school Judy married Durwood Tarbox who she spent 49 years with until his passing. She retired as a teacher’s aide from Deposit Central School where she truly enjoyed the students she worked with. Judy loved her cats Riley and Rory. She also liked traveling and spending time her son, daughter-in-law and their 3 boys. Her favorite pastimes were keeping a close eye on the weather and knitting. She will be dearly missed by all her loving family and friends.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 17, 2024, from 5pm to 8pm at Hennessey’s Funeral Home, 78 Second St. Deposit, NY.
