Of Wilkes-Barre, PA
Kathleen A. Bentz, 52, of Wilkes-Barre, PA, formerly of Susquehanna, PA, passed away on Friday, March 15, 2024, at Mountain City Nursing & Rehab Center in Hazle Township, PA.
She was predeceased by her parents John G. Bentz and Sharon K. Carpenter; sister Justine K. Hurlbert; grandparents Antoinette & Mitchell Makowski.
Kathleen is survived by her son Jared Stark; brother John M. Bentz; sisters Lynda M. Hawke, Laura L. Hill, and Sharon R. Bickford; and several nieces and nephews.
Kathleen was a very loving and caring person who was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. She was a talented artist and enjoyed sharing her artwork with others. Kathleen was a strong and courageous person who fought till the end. She will be dearly missed by her loving family and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held in the summer.
