Kathleen Christine LeStrange Of Annapolis, MD Kathleen LeStrange, 94, former resident of Susquehanna, PA, passed away quietly on Thursday, December 24, 2015 at Heritage Harbor Rehabilitation Center in Annapolis, MD. Kathleen had moved to Annapolis in June 1997 with her sister the late Marguerite Murphy to reside with her son Joseph LeStrange and his family. She is survived by her son Joseph LeStrange (Linda) of Annapolis Md. , nephew Thomas LeStrange (Pauline) of Conklin NY., granddaughters Amanda Shope(Drew) of Annapolis Md., Andrea LeStrange of Washington DC., great niece Kelly Jones(Eric) of Westover NY., great nephew Patrick LeStrange(Hjun-Ji) of Falls Church Va., and great grandchildren Grace and Conner Shope. Kathleen was a graduate of Laurel Hill Academy class of 1939 and Ridley & Lowell Business School class of 1940 she was employed by Bell Telephone Co. and the Banner Market in Susquehanna until her retirement in 1994. She was very active in the Susquehanna community and St. John Church. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America, The Altar Rosary Society, and Democratic Party of Susquehanna Country. After her retirement she spent time at The Village of the Four Seasons with her granddaughters during the summer, participating in athletics and social activities. She will be greatly missed by her family and the communities of Susquehanna and Annapolis, Md. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday December 31st at 10:00a.m. by the Rev. David Cramer at St. John Roman Catholic Church, Susquehanna, PA. Burial will be in the St. John’s Cemetery in Susquehanna. The family will receive friends at the Hennessey Funeral Home 747 Jackson Avenue. Susquehanna, PA. on Wednesday from 6:00pm to 8:30pm.
