Kathleen “Tully” Perry
Of Susquehanna, PA
It is not a “Long Road to Tipperary” if you knew Kathleen Perry. For those fortunate to know “Tully”, her front door was open by appointment to enjoy her warm hospitality, Irish wit and politically charged dialogue.
Tully was a devoted Catholic, life member of St. John The Evangelist Church, Most Holy Trinity Parish and graduate of the Laurel Hill Academy. She proudly worked at Barnes Kasson Hospital in the business office for 45 years. She did not look at Barnes as a workplace, rather as a second home with co-workers who considered each other an extended family. Tully enjoyed lending a helping hand for fundraising to support local organizations, whether it be selling tickets for school events, fire department functions or saving and delivering bottles for the Boy Scouts.
Tully found the most joy in being a grandmother, or as the grandchildren called her, “Nona.”
