Kathryn H. Barnard Of Susquehanna, Pa. Kathryn H. Barnard,98, of Susquehanna, Pa. passed away Sunday October 15, 2017 at the Barnes Kasson Hospital in Susquehanna after an illness. She was predeceased by her husband Ralph Barnard, 7 brothers Fred, Ken, Gordon, Richard, Ronald, Lloyd, Norman Stiefel; two sisters Daurice and Janet Miller. Kathryn is survived by 3 sons James & Kathy Crawford, Roger Crawford, Ronald & Susan Crawford; 2 daughters Beverly & Jerry Parks, Carole Klym; step daughter Bonnie and Edwin Roth; 19 Grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren several nieces and nephews. Kathryn was a member of the Susquehanna United Methodist Church where she loved working with her friends at the church suppers and rummage sales. She also loved to cook and bake. She enjoyed feeding her family and their friends. When the railroad was running she fed several hobos that would hop off the stopped train and knock on the door for food. Kathryn was a great mom, gramma and great gramma. She will be dearly missed but forever in our hearts. The family would like to thank Dr. B. Patel and the nursing staff at Barnes Kasson Hospital for the wonderful care they gave to our mother. The funeral service will be held on Thursday October 19, 2017 at noon at the Hennessey’s Funeral Home 747 Jackson Ave. Susquehanna, Pa. with Pastor Vincent Chiaramonte officiating. Interment will be held in the Chapel Lawn Memorial Park in Dallas, Pa. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 10am to noon. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Barnes Kasson Hospital or First United Methodist Church, Susquehanna, PA.
