Kay Ann Buffington

Kay Ann BuffingtonOf Susquehanna, PA  Kay Ann Buffington, 62, of Susquehanna, entered eternal rest on Sunday, June 8, 2014.  She was predeceased by her parents George and Bernice Suchnick.  She leaves behind her beloved son Adam Buffington, her sister Georgia Suchnick, two nieces, Aimee Wademan and Shiela Poppo, one nephew Nick DeAngelis , several great nieces and nephews and many close friends.  Kay was a graduate of Keystone College. She was employed by Barnes Kasson Hospital, Susquehanna, for 43 years. She was a longtime Susquehanna Borough council member and President of BPW. She loved the outdoors and wildlife. Kay cherished her Siberian Husky, Kodi and cat, Gimley. She was an amazing woman and will be loved and missed dearly by the many friends she has acquired throughout the years. Arrangements are being handled by Hennessey’s Funeral Home, Susquehanna, PA.  A memorial service will be planned at a later date at the convenience of the family.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Susquehanna Fire Department.  A special “Thankyou” to the doctors, nurses and all the staff at the Barnes Kasson Hospital; your care and sympathy will be remembered by the family forever.
