Kerrin Elizabeth Groover, 18, of Susquehanna, PA, passed away unexpectedly on July 25, 2025. She is predeceased by her uncle Brian Richard Sherman.

Kerrin is survived by her parents Jennifer Sherman and Charles Groover; siblings Michael Hilkert (Kayla) and Crizabith Sceranka; grandparents Marion Sherman (Les Hall), Richard Sherman, Cheri & John Whitmore, Chuck & ConnieGroover; several aunts & uncles, including Jeffery & Jolanta Sherman and Katelyn Sherman; special friends Carmen and Scott Megivern and Bethany Maby; her pets Dahmer, Layla, Baby, Bubbles, and Mayhem; and two people that held a special place in her heart, Rylea and Raymond.

Kerrin was born in Susquehanna, PA on August 29, 2006. She recently graduated from Susquehanna Community High School and had dreams of becoming a pre-school/Art Therapy Teacher. Kerrin was a talented artist, who had a passion for drawing. She loved shopping, especially Amazon and Shein, scrolling Tik-Tok, spicy Ramen, Squishmallows, all animals, the band Alice In Chains, learning to drive with her mom, and sharing a special bond with Aunt Kate, watching movies, going on late night Dollar General runs for snacks, and making houses in Sims. She was a fierce, but loyalfriend with a gentle soul. Kerrin loved her family and friends, who will miss her dearly. Kerrin had a passion for volunteering, especially in the Elementary Art Classroom.

“Daughters are like flowers, they fill the world with beauty”; Kerrin was a beautiful soul, who loved fiercely with her entire heart. Forever.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, from 3pm to 6pm, at Hennessey’s Funeral Home: 747 Jackson Ave., Susquehanna, PA 18847.
