Linda G. Evans

Linda G. Evans, 72, of Susquehanna, PA, passed away peacefully on September 25, 2018 with her loving family at her side.   She is survived by her devoted husband of 29 years, Douglas C. Evans.  She also left behind her 3 daughters, Debbie and Dennis Roe, Tammy and Terry Heath and Sheila Lake; her sister, Geri and Doc Lake; 2 brothers, Tom and Ruth Butts and Jeff and Mary Butts; 8 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.   She was predeceased by her parents, Marjorie (Bennett) Butts and Edward Butts Sr; 3 brothers, Edward Butts Jr, Francis "Cheech" Butts and Alan Butts.   Linda worked as a Home Health Aide at Barnes Kasson Hospital for several years before becoming a self-employed house keeper until she became ill.  She loved spending time outdoors, gardening, fishing and camping.  She would spend hours working in her beautiful flower gardens, trying to outfish her family (and often being successful) or going on camping trips with her family.  She also enjoyed trying to out-prank her brother, Jeff (and often failing).   She will be missed tremendously by her family, but they take comfort in knowing that she is reunited with her parents, brothers and her beloved companions, Spanky and Bandit.   A special heartfelt thank you to her 3 granddaughters, Tiffany Conklin, Heather Napolitano and Alysia Tanner and all who cared for "Grams" or "Linda Lou" at Barnes Kasson SNF.     At Linda's request, there won't be any funeral service.  Her family will have a small gathering of family and close friends at Linda and Doug's home on October 6, 2018 at 1:00 p.m.     In lieu of flowers, her family requests donations for Barnes Kasson SNF.  Please send any donations to Tiffany Conklin, 26 Pleasant Ave, Susquehanna, PA  18847.
