Lois Schrader, 94, of Danville, PA formerly of Susquehanna, PA passed away at home on December 4th surrounded by family.

She was predeceased by her husband Ralph J Schrader, Sr.; son Ralph J Schrader (RJ) Jr; parents Cradoc and Nome Evans; and siblings Tommy, Cyril, Hayden, Mason, Dan, Cradoc, Elizabeth, Laverne, Helen, and Myrtle.

Lois is survived by her daughter Mary Ruth Payne and son in law, Ronald, of Jacksonville, FL; sisters Margaret Lamb and brother in law, Lewis, and Rhoda Munson; Grandchildren Jeffrey Schrader (Mandy), Stephen Schrader (Stacey), Maura Garrison (Corey), Randy Payne (Kim), Heather Darkatch. She was cherished by her 14 great grandchildren Natalie, Benjamin, Lucas, Izsla, Weston, Casey, Britney, Chloe, Davis, Ethan, Courtney, Trevor, Myles, and Maggie.

In her younger years, Lois enjoyed daily walks to town and talking with friends over a nice cup of coffee. She spoke fondly of her time volunteering at Barnes Kasson Hospital in the beauty parlor with her dear friend Donna Paige. Lois also took pleasure in writing letters to friends and family daily and reading the newspaper. She had great pride in her faith and family.

The family will receive friends at the Hennessey’s Funeral Home, 747 Jackson Ave. Susquehanna, PA, on Saturday, December 10, 2022, from 10:30am to 12:30pm. Following the visitation interment will take place in the St. John’s Cemetery, Susquehanna, PA.
