Louis Butch Napolitano

Louis “Butch” Napolitano Of Oakland, PA   Butch Napolitano, 73 of Oakland, PA passed away on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at Geisinger Community Medical Center Hospital in Scranton, PA, where he had been for weeks due to an illness. He was predeceased by his loving wife of 35 years Elaine; parents Clem & Mary Napolitano; sister Virginia Towner; and brother John Napolitano. Butch is survived by his brother and sister-in-law James & Trudy Napolitano; sister and brother-in-law Judy & Willard Canfield; sister-in-law Nancy Napolitano; along with several nieces, nephews and cousins. Butch was employed at Sears & Roebuck Co. for many years until his retirement. He served in the Army National Guard and was a lifetime member of the American Legion Post 86 in Susquehanna, PA. Butch enjoyed walking several miles a day until his health would not allow him to. He and his wife Elaine were always together; now they are together in Eternal Life. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at 4pm at the Hennessey’s Funeral Home, 747 Jackson Ave. Susquehanna, PA. Interment will be held in the St. John’s Cemetery, Susquehanna, PA at a later date. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 20, 2019 from 2 to 4pm. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Legion Post 86, 1234 W. Main St. Susquehanna, PA.
