Louise C. Belknap, 90, of Deposit, NY, passed away on Saturday, February 25, 2023, at UHS Wilson Hospital in Johnson City, NY.

She was predeceased by her parents Charles & Irene Holley; husband Bradford M. “Bud” Belknap; son Thomas Belknap; sister Patricia McAssey; and her brother Charles Holley.

Louise is survived by her children Nora Belknap, Louise & Jeffrey Clark; grandchildren Daniel & Donna Clark, Thomas & Miranda Clark; and her beloved great grandchildren; sister Gail Smith; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Louise was an active member of St. Joseph’s Church in Deposit, NY, Catholic Daughters, Deposit Food Pantry, and VFW Auxiliary #6609 in Deposit, NY. She worked as a crossing guard for several years and also volunteered at the Deposit Closet.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at 11am at St. Joseph’s Church, 98 Second St. Deposit, NY.

Interment will be held at Laurel Hill Cemetery in the Spring. A gathering to celebrate her life and multitudes of friendships will follow.
