Mae Lillian Wright Of Lawton, PA Mae Lillian (nee Kuiper) Wright passed away on Monday, April 8, 2019, following a period of declining health. Mae was predeceased by her husband, Ronald Wright, parents Nicholas and Lillian Kuiper, sisters Cora Hemkes, Alice Kuiper, Jeanne Bedford and brothers Nicholas and John. She is survived by two brothers, Allan and William (Gerry) as well as four half-brothers, George, Arthur, Robert and Paul and one half-sister, Ruth. She is also survived by two loving daughters, Sandra Post (William) and Kathy Vanaman (Jonathan). She also has three beautiful granddaughters, Marie (Shawn), Heather and Samantha besides four great grandchildren, Sara, Zachary, Isaac and Andrew. Mae was born on May 7, 1925, in Paterson, NJ. She lived in various areas and retired in Thompson, PA. For the last 13 years, Mae lived with her daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and William in Lawton, PA where she passed away. Mae loved to read, cook and travel as well as creating various kinds of crafts. Mae and Ronnie traveled all over the world while they worked at Western Electric and upon retirement traveled in their motor home around the US. They finally became “snowbirds” in Largo, FL until they could no longer travel to Florida. She will be buried, with a private ceremony, at Gelatt Cemetery, Gelatt, PA. A memorial service will be held in June.
