Margaret L. Burdick, 80, of Susquehanna, PA, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, December 9, 2022.

She was predeceased by her parents John E. & Margaret Brown, son Joseph Burdick, sister Ann Hinkley, and brother Bill Brown.

Margaret is survived by her husband of 60 years, Warner Burdick, Sr. of Susquehanna, PA, her sons and daughters-in-law David & Robin Burdick of Thompson, PA, Chip & Kim Burdick of Melrose, PA; her daughters and sons-in-law Patricia & Steve Lynch of Susquehanna, PA, and Barbara & Anthony Fiore of Myrtle Beach, SC; she is also survived by her 6 grandchildren; Andrew Burdick, Lindsey Burdick, Kasey Burdick, Abby Burdick, David Vales, and Nick Vales; 4 great grandchildren; Owen, Victor, Ava, and Lydia; brother John & Mary Brown; sister Marilyn & Jack Wanatt; brothers-in-law Gary Burdick and Joseph & Cindy Burdick; sister-in-law Rosemary & Cleon Lloyd; also many nieces and nephews.

Margaret was born in Susquehanna, PA on March 1, 1942. She graduated from Laurel Hill Academy in 1959. She retired in 2007 from Barnes Kasson Hospital after 33 years of employment. She enjoyed reading, baking, going to Broadway plays and casinos. She was an avid New York Yankees and New York Giants fan. Most of all she loved spending time with her family.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for our mom, Peg Burdick, on Saturday, June 10, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at St. John’s Roman Catholic Church, East Church St, Susquehanna, PA.  Interment will be held in the Lanesboro Cemetery, Lanesboro, PA.
